Are you a true Muslim?

Are you a true Muslim?

As you know this life is a unique occasion, after it, either you will be in Paradise, or in Hellfire, so we really need to be sure that we are true Muslims, before it is too late .

In this article we will discuss our Islam in order to be sure that we are true Muslims, so if you are ready let's get started

Are you a Muslim?

Yes of course I'm.

I hope so, but let me ask you : What proves your Islam

I testify that there is no god but Allah, and Mohamed is His messenger, I accomplish my daily prayers,  and I fast Ramadan, and I abstain from all what Allah has forbidden…

That's great, let me do a quick revision of your testimony.

What does your testimony that there is no god but Allah mean?

My testimony means that I am not subject to any authority but Allah's authority, I submit to  Allah alone without a partner.

That's perfect, but are you really submitting to Allah alone?

What about your state's law?

Aren't you submitting to it also?

Yes of course I'm subject to my country's law, otherwise I would be in jail.

So you weren't honest when you said : I testify that there is no god but Allah, because you are submitting to something other than Allah?!

Yes I was honest, but I'm forced to respect the country's law, otherwise I would be in prison.

Is jail an excuse to be a Mushrik? (Mushrik is the opposite of Muslim)

How can you hope to enter heaven, when you don't want to sacrifice for its sake?

You can escape to the countryside, where you will not be under the authority of the country's law, why didn't you go there?

I will tell you;

You are under your desire's authority, therefore you aren't ready to sacrifice your life for Allah by immigrating to where you will be not under any authority but the authority of Allah, or by enduring the jail for the sake of Allah.

Instead of being honest with yourself, you prefer lying on yourself by saying I'm a Muslim, but the Last Day you will be the biggest loser, as what Allah told us in :

﴿إِنَّ الَّذينَ تَوَفّاهُمُ المَلائِكَةُ ظالِمي أَنفُسِهِم قالوا فيمَ كُنتُم قالوا كُنّا مُستَضعَفينَ فِي الأَرضِ قالوا أَلَم تَكُن أَرضُ اللَّهِ واسِعَةً فَتُهاجِروا فيها فَأُولئِكَ مَأواهُم جَهَنَّمُ وَساءَت مَصيرًا﴾

Approximate translation:

Indeed, those the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves -[the angels] will say in what [condition] were you? They will say we were oppressed in the land. They [the angels] will say, was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein ? For those their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as destination

Chapter 4 verse 97.

You are wronging yourself by living under an authority other than Allah's authority, and your excuse (fear of jail) isn't an acceptable excuse while you can emigrate in the earth of Allah.

So be honest with yourself, before it's too late.

Of course if you really aren't able to emigrate, or facing who oppress you, Allah excuse you, because He is the Most Merciful as He said:

﴿إِلَّا المُستَضعَفينَ مِنَ الرِّجالِ وَالنِّساءِ وَالوِلدانِ لا يَستَطيعونَ حيلَةً وَلا يَهتَدونَ سَبيلًا۝فَأُولئِكَ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَعفُوَ عَنهُم وَكانَ اللَّهُ عَفُوًّا غَفورًا﴾

Approximate translation:

Except for the oppressed among men, women and children who cannot devise a plan nor are they directed to a way - for those it is expected that Allah will pardon them, and Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.

Chapter 4 verses 98-99.

I'm sorry if I'm harsh with you in talking, but the gravity of the situation leaves no place for courtesy, so I had to be quite frank, this is something that entails eternal heaven or eternal hell.

If you have other responses, let me know in the comment section, I will discuss it with you inshallah, may Allah make us honest and sincere with Him, Amin.

In the next article we will talk about how to become a true Muslim inshallah, until then I wish you a good time and Assalamualaikum.
