Evidence proving that the Quran is God's word

Evidence proving that the Quran is God's word

In order to find the truth the following question was posed in the past research Learn from Abraham how to become a true Muslim:

What proves that the Quran is God’s word?

I had postponed the answer to this question to an independent research, for fear that the research would be prolonged, and today I will inshallah answer it, so this research is an integral part of the previous research, whose goal is to liberate man from all human authorities, and surrender himself and his money to God  Almighty alone.

Notice that the best way to prove that the Islam brought by Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the only religion that is pleasing to God Almighty is to prove that the Qur'an is the word of God, and not written by Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), because if we prove that the Qur'an is the word of God, and not written by Muhammad, we will have proven that this universe has a creator, God Almighty, with evidence that The Qur'an is His word, and thus invalidates atheism based on the premise that the universe created itself by chance.

We have also proven that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, because he is the one who carried to us the words of God, and therefore there is no doubt that the religion that is satisfactory to God, is the one brought by Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, which is Islam, and then we have answered a hypothesis put forward in the previous research, which is why Christianity, Judaism or other religions are not the satisfactory religion to God.

Therefore, the subject of the research will be to find out what  conclusive evidences prove that the Qur'an is the word of God, and I will address this topic from the following axes:

Emancipation from the previous opinions about the Qur'an

Emancipation from the previous opinions about the Qur'an

What will I gain from proving that the Qur'an is the word of God, if the Qur'an is in fact nothing but a book written by Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

What will I gain from proving that the Qur'an is not the word of God, if the Qur'an is in fact the word of God in which He speaks to me?

The answer to the previous two questions is that I will lose.

In the first case I will be a slave to a human book, and in the second case I will receive the severe punishment that God has prepared for those who deny the Qur’an.

Therefore the most correct decision I make regarding the Qur'an is to be neutral, I am not against the Qur'an being the word of God, and I do not presuppose that it is the word of God, but I look at the evidence with complete impartiality without being disturbed by preconceived ideas, what is proven by conclusive and unquestionable mental evidence I follow, and I am sure that I am free in my decision that I have taken without any influence.

This complete neutrality is difficult, due to the weakness of the human soul, and its attachment to the preconceived ideas it adopts,

Despite the fact that most people claim neutrality, but in practice they are very and subconsciously biased to  their preconceived ideas, especially if they correspond to their whims, and their lifestyle.

The atheist person is one who can't impartially discuss evidence presented to him, because  his atheistic ideas give him a justification to evade the legitimate costs of restricting his freedom, hence we find him pushing the conclusive evidence with speculative suspicions that lack a rationale, because he is biased towards his lifestyle.

Also, many religious people believe in a set of absurd beliefs and defend them falsely, although they claim neutrality and impartiality, because their lifestyle is based on those beliefs, and therefore in fact they are not ready to get rid of them after showing their corruption, as a result of the tax that it will cost him to get rid of them exorbitantly.

Therefore, we need frankness with oneself, to make oneself only looks at the abstract truth, and be ready to change, and this frankness is a personal decision that you have to think about now before continuing, otherwise the benefit of these lines may be non-existent for you.

Conclusive mental evidence that proves that the Qur'an is the word of God

Fourteen years ago I was on a date with an incident that shook my being, and made me accept to abstract in my thinking, and review my beliefs, as I was an atheist before that, and I began to ask the following question

Does this universe really have a Creator?

Is Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) really nothing but a liar?

The only way to know the answer is to examine the Qur'an, if Muhammad was really a messenger from God, then the Qur'an must have conclusive mental evidences that it is really the word of God, and from here I started the research that did not take long, the evidences that prove that the Qur'an is the word of God are more than can be counted, and here is a statement of some of them:

The unique style of the Qur'an

When you open the Mus-haf to read, the first verse you read is:

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمنِ الرَّحيمِ

Approximate translation:

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

[Fatihah: 1]

And here is the biggest shock, you are the reader, and you are the speaker at the same time, when you read

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

you are expressing yourself, its meaning is:

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful I read

This is a big surprise, it is natural that when a person reads a book written by others, he remains the addressee, and the author is the speaker, but here the reader is the speaker, and he continues to speak throughout Surat Al-Fatihah, addressing God Almighty:

إِيّاكَ نَعبُدُ وَإِيّاكَ نَستَعينُ۝اهدِنَا الصِّراطَ المُستَقيمَ۝صِراطَ الَّذينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِم غَيرِ المَغضوبِ عَلَيهِم وَلَا الضّالّينَ

Approximate translation:

It is You we worship and You we ask for help. (5) Guide us to the straight path - (6) The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. (7)

[Fatihah: 5-7]

This method is not the style of human beings in authorship, but it is a unique style, in which God teaches His slave how to speak to Him, and what to ask his Lord, as it shows the relationship between the slave and his Lord, and the purpose for which this book was revealed, as it shows the honor of mankind, and shows the relationship between the universe and human being, as it shows the sections of all people, so Al-Fatihah was the most impressive introduction, where it contained much information, in a few words, in a unique style.

Whether you agree with me on the knowledge contained in Al-Fatihah or not, you cannot deny that this is not the way humans write their books, and this is enough to prove that the Qur'an is different from human production, and therefore it is definitely not written by Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

The inability of humans and jinn to create an example of the Qur'an

Suppose that Muhammad is the one who wrote the Qur'an, the Qur'an is therefore the authorship of human beings, and this means that the authorship of another group of Arab rhetoricians will be better than him, or at least equal to him, especially if we know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is not one of the most knowledgeable people in Arabic, as he was not known for his genius in rhetoric, nor poetry before his mission, so there is no doubt that his literary production will not be better than the production of the Arab rhetoricians, right?

Yes, the effort of the group is greater than the effort of the individual, and this is what God challenged all humans and jinn to do in His saying:

وَإِن كُنتُم في رَيبٍ مِمّا نَزَّلنا عَلى عَبدِنا فَأتوا بِسورَةٍ مِن مِثلِهِ وَادعوا شُهَداءَكُم مِن دونِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتُم صادِقينَ

Approximate translation:

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. (23)

Chapter 2.

In order not to leave room for the arrogant, He obligated them to bring witnesses who testify to them that what they produced is like the Qur'an, which humanity has not succeeded in so far, and will not succeed in it, because whoever knows the Qur'an knows that he is in front of a unique book, it is impossible to resemble anything, so one who has an atom of fairness, must to accept that it is from God, and here, the one has two choices, either to submit to Quran, and he will be saved, or he will be arrogant and the threat will be fulfilled:

فَإِن لَم تَفعَلوا وَلَن تَفعَلوا فَاتَّقُوا النّارَ الَّتي وَقودُهَا النّاسُ وَالحِجارَةُ أُعِدَّت لِلكافِرينَ

Approximate translation:

But if you do not – and you will never be able to – then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers. (24)

Chapter 2

The way of challenge in the words of the Almighty:

قُل لَئِنِ اجتَمَعَتِ الإِنسُ وَالجِنُّ عَلى أَن يَأتوا بِمِثلِ هذَا القُرآنِ لا يَأتونَ بِمِثلِهِ وَلَو كانَ بَعضُهُم لِبَعضٍ ظَهيرًا

Approximate translation:

Say, “If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants.” (88)

Chapter 17.

not left a chance to withdraw, either you accept the inability of humans and jinn to bring the example of the Qur'an, and then you recognize that it is definitely the word of God, or you produce the like of the Qur'an and bring witnesses who testify to you.

In the era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the Arabs innately speak Arabic, as it is their tongue, and therefore when one of them hears the Qur'an, he shook because of its heaviness and strength, so he could only submit to God due to the strength of this discourse, which is not similar to anything.

Whoever Allah does not want  to guide him - as a result of what He knew in their heart of arrogance and stubbornness - He has sealed their heart and is deaf to their ears, so that they do not understand the Quran or hear it:

Approximate translation:

And when you recite the Qur’an, We put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a concealed partition. (45) And We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And when you mention your Lord alone in the Qur’an, they turn back in aversion. (46)

Chapter 17

So they are not guided by the Qur'an because the Qur'an has not penetrated into their hearts, and nevertheless they knew that there was no way for them to produce the example of the Qur'an, so they did not dare to try.

Revelation is devoid of any deficiency

Weakness is from the nature of human beings, so there are lacks in their work, every human work whatever it is, still has errors and defects, no matter how much one tries to patch them some remain, especially in the field of authorship where errors abound, so we continue to see editions after editions of the same work, and in each edition the author tries to avoid certain errors, but he makes others, and so in the next edition, and so on.

Therefore, if the Qur'an was written by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), there is no doubt that there are errors in it, and it can be improved, it is the production of human beings, is it not so?

If we find the Qur'an free from any error or deficiency, we know for sure that it is not from human beings, so it is definitely from God Almighty, and this is exactly what our Lord Almighty stated in saying:

أَفَلا يَتَدَبَّرونَ القُرآنَ وَلَو كانَ مِن عِندِ غَيرِ اللَّهِ لَوَجَدوا فيهِ اختِلافًا كَثيرًا

Approximate translation:

Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction. (82)

Chapter 4

The height of the Qur'anic discourse

The human soul is a weak soul, and this weakness is shown in the works it produces, especially if the worker is a person looking for followers and supporters, we will undoubtedly find some tendency to the followers and cover them up, so that they do not alienate and leave the preacher.

But when we browse the Qur'an, we find that it does not favor the believers, nor the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), if they make a mistake or do something wrong right, but sometimes threatens them with a very strong threat, such as the Almighty's saying:

Approximate translation:

It is not for a prophet to have captives [of war] until he inflicts a massacre [upon Allah ‘s enemies] in the land. Some Muslims desire the commodities of this world, but Allah desires [for you] the Hereafter. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. (67) If not for a decree from Allah that preceded, you would have been touched for what you took by a great punishment. (68) So consume what you have taken of war booty [as being] lawful and good, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (69)

Chapter 8.

We also find him admonishing the believers when he says:

Approximate translation:

O you who have believed, when you go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah, investigate; and do not say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace “You are not a believer,” aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted. (94)

Chapter 4

It reveals what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to hide in himself:

Approximate translation:

And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, “Keep your wife and fear Allah,” while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished. (37)

Chapter 33

If Muhammad had written the Qur'an, he would never have dared to say such words, and many others in the Qur'an, because it undoubtedly reduces his followers, so certainly the Qur'an is not the words of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but it is from God who is entitled to the truth in his words, and does not favor anyone.

The status of Mary - peace be upon her - in the Qur'an

It is known that the historical hostility between Jews and Arabs, to the extent that the description of the word "Jew" is considered a curse among the Arabs, due to the intensity of their contempt for the Jews, and it is also known that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, is an Arab and his followers in his life are mostly Arabs, and despite all that, the Qur'an that he brought, contains a verse that states that Mary is the best woman in the world:

وَإِذ قالَتِ المَلائِكَةُ يا مَريَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصطَفاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصطَفاكِ عَلى نِساءِ العالَمينَ

Approximate translation:

And [mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. (42)

Chapter 3

If Muhammad was the one who wrote the Qur'an, he would not have put this verse in his book, since it angers the audience who addresses him, as he tells them that a young Jewish woman is better than all the women of the earth, including their women, and this will not please them at all, so there is no doubt that Muhammad is a messenger from God, and that the Qur'an is really the word of God.

Enormous scientific profusion

Indeed, the student of the Qur'an will be impressed by the tremendous scientific abundance of the Qur'an, as it contained accurate information from many sciences that are difficult to count, whatever your scientific field, it undoubtedly fascinates you with what he talked about in your field, and this is what made me personally believe that the Qur'an can not in any way be the words of humans, because it is impossible for Muhammad to be a scientist with science Sociology, psychology, physics, chemistry, geology, marine science, astronomy, climate, botany, and medicine, at the same time, so I had no choice but to admit that the Qur'an is the word of God, and in the following I present some verses that indicate the greatness of God and that the Qur'an is the word of God

Fixed ozone layer in the sky

Ozone

When I studied chemistry, I learned that the ozone molecule is made up of three atoms of oxygen (the weight of the molecule is 48 grams) and that more than two-thirds of the air is nitrogen (two atoms of nitrogen are 28 grams weight) and the rest is mostly oxygen (two atoms of oxygen and the weight of the molecule is 32 grams), this means that ozone is heavier than the air adjacent to the Earth, so it is assumed that Ozone is the lower and not the highest, and this is confirmed if we know that the density of ozone is higher than that of the rest of the air due to the bonds between molecules, which are almost non-existent between air molecules.

I also learned from physics that what I see as blue, and I call it the sky, is nothing but the ozone layer that reflects blue light when the sun's rays fall on it, and here the question arises:

What holds the ozone layer at the top, even though it's heavier and denser than the rest of the air?

This phenomenon is talked about in the Qur'an to show us the power of God Almighty and our inability to interpret in His saying:

اللَّهُ الَّذي رَفَعَ السَّماواتِ بِغَيرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَونَها ثُمَّ استَوى عَلَى العَرشِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمسَ وَالقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجري لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى يُدَبِّرُ الأَمرَ يُفَصِّلُ الآياتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقاءِ رَبِّكُم توقِنونَ

Approximate translation:

It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain.

Chapter 13

So far, we cannot find a convincing explanation for the fact that ozone remains high.

Lack of oxygen as we rise in the sky

The Qur'an has told about this fact, as it says that whoever ascends in heaven will have a narrow and awkward chest, in saying:

فَمَن يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَن يَهدِيَهُ يَشرَح صَدرَهُ لِلإِسلامِ وَمَن يُرِد أَن يُضِلَّهُ يَجعَل صَدرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّما يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّماءِ كَذلِكَ يَجعَلُ اللَّهُ الرِّجسَ عَلَى الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ

Approximate translation:

So whoever Allah wants to guide – He expands his breast to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide – He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus does Allah place defilement upon those who do not believe. (125)

Chapter 6.

The scientific explanation for this is that the more a person ascends in the sky, the less oxygen it is, and therefore the chest is narrowed to absorb a sufficient amount of air that contains the human need for oxygen, and the question is, who told Muhammad that whoever ascended in heaven will have a narrow chest other than Allah?

Stages of fetal development

One of the conclusive proofs that the Qur'an is the word of God is what it tells of the precise stages of the formation of the fetus in the womb of its mother:

Approximate translation:

Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging. (13) Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators. (14)

Chapter 23

Because these stages have only been recently discovered by modern means, who told Muhammad about these stages other than Allah Almighty?

The role of wind in pollinating clouds and plants

Rain

The common belief was that water evaporates from the ground, if it emerges in the atmosphere cold, and condenses, it descends in the form of droplets, and this belief is completely inaccurate, water needs a body that condenses around it, otherwise the process of converting water from vapor to liquid would not have been completed, and this is what was discovered recently, where the wind raises dust particles in the atmosphere, so water molecules condense around it. Water is produced, and this is what the Qur'an tells us:

وَأَرسَلنَا الرِّياحَ لَواقِحَ فَأَنزَلنا مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً فَأَسقَيناكُموهُ وَما أَنتُم لَهُ بِخازِنينَ

Approximate translation:

And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. (22)

Chapter 15

The wind also carries pollen between plants, thus helping to sustain vegetation, which also helps in rainfall, and the question is, who told Muhammad about this role of the wind other than God?

In fact, we will not be able to limit the scientific evidence that proves that the Qur'an is the word of God, as it is in all fields and very many, and each of them is sufficient to prove that the Qur'an is really the word of God, as it is impossible for Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to have reached it with his mind and research, especially since he was an illiterate man, among illiterate people, most of whom do not read or write.

If you have any questions or suggestions please write it down in comments section, I will answer you as soon as possible insha’Allah
